Collection and delivery
Post offices, in-store post offices, business centres or rural postmen/women
Collection deadline
2 weeks – also applies when cash on delivery consignment is sent as a registered letter or insured letter. A reminder is sent
to the recipient after 1 week.
Summer and Christmas deadlines
Cash on delivery consignments that arrive at the post office during the period 1-17 July will be held until 1 August and can
be collected from the post office throughout July. Similarly, consignments will not be returned between 23 December and the
first working day of the new year.

Delivery time
Determined by the category chosen (A-Priority, B-Economy, Registered or Insured letter).

No compensation is paid for consignments sent using A-Priority or B-Economy.
