How to send packages in return

The online shops can easily arrange for you to return items you do not want to keep. The shops can make a complete address card that you stick to the package.

The address card has determined which mode of sending is to be used. In this way, Posten bills your supplier and not you.

All you have to do is to enter the name and address of the sender before delivering the package at the post office.

It is important to remember that not all packages can be returned at the post office. If you have a return ticket from another company, packages must be delivered where you have picked it up.

Return or exchange of goods purchased online

In order to get a refund of customs and fees when returning or exchanging goods purchased online, you must be able to document that the goods have been customs cleared in Norway and it is sent in return.

If an item previously been cleared into Norway is sent back to the country it came from, you can apply to get fees refunded.

Read more about return or exchanging goods at Toll.no. Posten can also apply the Customs for a refund for you.
