Terms for leave parcel outside – receiver controlled

By entering into an agreement on this service, you accept the following:

• By ordering this service you authorize us/Posten to return the parcel at the agreed location. The parcel must be able to be placed so that it does not conflict with current fire regulations.
• When the parcel is placed in the agreed location, you as the recipient are responsible for the parcel.
• The consignee assumes all responsibility for any damage to or loss of the parcel after delivery at the agreed location.
• Once we have delivered the parcel at the agreed location, you will receive a receipt from us via sms.

The service can be ordered on all parcels to be delivered home during the period at 08 AM to 21 PM and where you usually have to sign for receipt of the parcel.

The service is not recommended in larger cities or urban buildings unless Posten has the opportunity to deliver the parcel in a closed entryway or the like. Not all addresses in Norway are suitable for leaving parcels behind, but you must consider that as a recipient. The parcel is delivered right outside the front door, also applies to apartment buildings (the driver does not have a key).

The service cannot be ordered on parcels that require identification, for which payment must be made or on parcels that are temperature-sensitive, for example pharmaceuticals.
