10 November 2017 – Christmas stamps

Under the Christmas sky.

Christmas in the city

Christmas in the countryside

A year is reaching its close. We have been headed this way a long time now, and it will soon be here, the blue, shimmering, cold, yet so warming time. We long for the crunch of the snow under our feet and see the white of our breath. When it is clear and cold, the sky is painted blue for an hour in the morning and again in the evening. The days are at their shortest, the expectations at their highest.

There are many different ways to return home for Christmas. Perhaps you are rushing through busy city streets, perhaps you are standing at the station waiting for the train, or perhaps you are sitting on a flight on your way home to the farm where you once grew up. Regardless how and when we head home for Christmas, we all live under the same stars, admire the same moon and the clear night-blue sky.

Enjoy the time. It is almost a year to next time.
