Human aid package to Ukraine

Wait with the Ukraine aid packages

Posten and the Ukrainian embassy are now urging everyone who wants to send aid packages to Ukraine to wait. The reason is that the reception center in Poland and Ukraine do not have the capacity to handle the large demand right now.

We will return with information as soon as it is again possible to send humanitarian aid.

We send free packages to addresses in Ukraine

There is a confusing situation in Ukraine, which means that it may take time to get the packages out. We therefore recommend that fresh foods are not sent that will not withstand transport. You can also not send dangerous and prohibited content.

Unfortunately, there are sites that are inaccessible and currently can not be reached by Ukrposhta. You can see on a map here which areas this applies to. They deliver in the yellow area, but not necessarily in the shaded area.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Pack what you want to send in a box. You can reuse packaging you already have, but make sure it is solid and well packed. Maximum weight of the package is 20 kilos.
  2. The maximum value of the content cannot be more than €150 or NOK 1,500.
  3. Order shipping of what you want to send, and the name and address of the person who will receive the package.
  4. You will receive a QR code by e-mail.
  5. Take the package to one of our drop-off points and show the QR code from the receipt to an employee who prints the address label for you.
NB! Address label must be printed by the staff; you can not use the self-service printers.

Unaddressed packages of humanitarian aid are currently not possible due to capacity issues at the receiving location

The packages with emergency aid are transported from Norway to Poland, after which the shipments are transported further by the Ukrainian post office, Ukrposhta.

These are in high demand:

Long-lasting food.

  • Dried food and canned food, nut and protein bars, dried fruit, pasta, soups, purees, condensed milk and sweets.
  • Baby food (meals). NOTE: No glass.
  • Food for pets.

Household products such as sleeping bags, sleeping pads, blankets and pillows.

Hygiene products such as toothbrushes and pastes, soaps, shampoos, wet wipes, diapers, sanitary napkins and tampons.

Medicines in the form of plasters, bandages, wound cleansers and sterile compresses.

Warm clothes - preferably thermal underwear (wool or similar). Make sure the clothes are clean and in good condition so that they can come in handy.

You can not send this:

To send humanitarian aid unaddressed:

  1. Pack what you want to send in a box. You can reuse packaging you already have, but make sure it is solid and well packed. Maximum weight of the package is 20 kg.
  2. The maximum value of the content cannot be more than €150 or NOK 1,500.
  3. Mark the package clearly in English with what it contains, such as: food, baby food, medicine, sleeping goods, etc.
  4. Order shipping of what you want to send. You will receive a QR code by e-mail.
  5. Take the package to one of our drop-off points and show the QR code from the receipt to an employee who prints the address label for you.
NB! Address label must be printed by the staff; you can not use the self-service printers.

Ordering this package is disabled until further notice.
