Terms for digital stamps

Terms of purchase and payment for digital stamps.


These terms concern the purchase and use of digital stamps from Posten Norge AS (Posten). Digital stamps can be used as an alternative to physical stamps to send letters or small parcels within Norway. The terms also apply to Posten’s general terms of delivery.

1. Price and payment

The price of digital stamps is the same as for ordinary stamps. The stated prices for orders include VAT. You can pay by debit card, credit card or Vipps. 

2. Validity of digital stamps

Digital stamps can be used for domestic post weighing up to 2 kg. A digital stamp is valid for seven days after you receive the code.

3. Processing of personal data

On ordering the service, you must register your name, telephone number and email address, and state your payment details according to the payment method selected.

You will receive a receipt for your purchase to the email address stated. We will use your phone number if we need to contact you about the post you send. This might be if post is returned, if the sender is not stated, or there is insufficient postage. The information will only be used to the extent necessary to fulfil the agreement. We delete the information 60 days after the purchase. See also our privacy policy here.

4. Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days.
You should complete this form if you wish to cancel your purchase.
