Terms for letters
The terms govern the purchase of postage for letters from Posten Bring AS. The terms apply in addition to Posten Bring’s general delivery terms.

1. Price and Validity
The price for sending letters follows the price list for letters and applies for items up to 2 kg per envelope size.
Letters with a sending code can be used on small and large letters within Norway and are valid for 30 days after you have received the code. Stamps can be used on all letter types and can be purchased in stores or in the stamp shop online.
2. Submission
Letters can be submitted at Posten’s submission points or in letterboxes. No receipt is issued for submitted items, and the service includes no compensation for damage or loss.

Minimum size: 9 x 14 cm.
The letter services can be purchased in Post in stores. In addition, the formats Small and Large can be purchased at posten.no/en.
4. Delivery Time
Delivery time within Norway is normally 2–3 business days to the recipient’s mailbox. For postal codes starting with 8 or 9, the forwarding time is usually 3–5 business days.
5. Addressing
Addressing with the correct name and address ensures that the letter reaches the right recipient without delay. See rules for correct addressing: Addressing domestically and addressing abroad.
6. Contents and Packaging
Shipments must contain items that are permitted to be sent through Posten and must be properly packaged so that the contents remain secure. See current regulations for prohibited contents and for dangerous goods in limited quantities: Dangerous and prohibited contents in letters and parcels.
It is the sender’s responsibility to ensure that the contents comply with all applicable regulations at all times. Certain types of goods are subject to specific restrictions that the sender is obligated to familiarize themselves with.
7. Customs Documentation for Shipments to Svalbard and Abroad

8. Processing of Personal Data
Posten’s processing of personal data in connection with the delivery of this service is regulated by a separate privacy notice. It provides information about how we process your personal data and your rights in this regard.
9. Right of Withdrawal
You may cancel your purchase within 14 days.
