Maximum and minimum dimensions for letters and parcels to be sent abroad by Posten.
Letters and postcards without value abroad
Maximum dimensions are:
- Length + width + thickness: 90 cm
- Length: 60 cm
Shipments over maximum dimensions or 2 kg must be sent as a parcel.
Minimum size for all letter mail is 9x14 cm.
Gifts, goods and documents with value abroad
Also check if countries have special rules concerning measurements and content.
1. In a letter abroad
Maximum dimensions are:
- Length + width + thickness: 90 cm
- Length: 60 cm
Shipments over maximum dimensions or 2 kg must be sent as a parcel.
Minimum size for all letter mail is 9 x 14 cm.
2. In a package abroad
- Maximum weight: 20 kg per shipment
- Maximum dimensions: 120x60x60 cm
- Minimum dimensions: 23 x 13 x 1 cm

3. Sent as Express abroad
- Maximum weight: 35 kg per shipment
- Maximum dimensions: 120 x 60 x 60 cm
- Minimum dimensions: 23 x 13 x 1 cm
